You will participate in a Dive Against Debris survey and take real action keep your dive sites from ocean plastic and debris. Sort, record and report the marine debris you collect. After your dive, you’ll weigh, sort, record, dispose of and report your marine debris to the PADI AWARE Foundation™ database.

If you’re looking for an adventurous dive and contribute to a healthy reef, this is the specialty for you! The Lionfish is an invasive species here on Bonaire. Meaning, they don’t belong to our reefs natural habitat.

After a hurricane the lionfish ended up on our reefs without any natural predator to hunt on them. This means they ended up on the top of the food chain really quick. The lionfish eats and hunts on the fish that keeps our underwater eco system in tact. So by doing that, the lionfish disturb our reefs.

As a Lionfish hunter you’re allowed to hunt on these predators with the guidance of a local hunter. Join us in the battle against the Lionfish and dive for a healthier reef. After the theoretical session, we will practice with the hunting device and go for two dives.
